FAQs:  Reminders

If time is not specified for an item, when will I receive the reminder for it?

If a day is specified but a time is not specified, reQall sets the due time to 9:00 AM and sends the reminders accordingly.

How do I receive the reminders for recurring items?
Reminders for recurring items are sent based on the interval and time specified in the item. Those can be set manually or by including the information in the item.  For example, you can say "Meeting every Monday at 10:00 AM".  reQall will send the reminder every Monday before 10:00. The specific time the reminder will be sent is based on your setting for the hours and/or minutes before an item is scheduled that you want to be reminded.

Is there a way to "snooze" my reminder?
Currently, reQall doesn't have an option to snooze a reminder.

Can I set different reminder times for different items?
Currently, the reminder is sent a fixed amount of time before the item is scheduled. This fixed amount can be changed for all items, but cannot be modified for an individual item.

Does it cost anything to receive text messages from reQall?
reQall doesn't separately charge for text messages; however this is a Pro only feature. To learn more about Pro accounts go to http://www.reqall.com/about/subscriptions.

Please note: Your carrier may charge you to receive text messages. Please check with your carrier about incoming text message costs.

Can I receive text message reminders on two phone numbers?
Currently, reQall sends text messages only to one phone number. If you have registered more than one phone number with reQall then you can choose the phone number to which you would like to receive text messages.

Can I receive reminders at more than one email address?
Currently, reQall supports and sends email notifications only to one email address.

Will I be charged extra to receive push notifications?
There is no separate charge for push notifications; however this is a Pro only feature. To learn more about Pro accounts go to http://www.reqall.com/about/subscriptions.

Do I need to keep the reQall application open to receive Push notifications?
There is no need to keep the reQall application open. Push notifications are delivered even if your iPhone is in sleep mode, locked or if you are accessing another application.

Please note:
* Push notifications cannot be received if your iPhone is switched off.
* If there are multiple push notifications scheduled for a particular time then you can only receive one push notification. This is an Apple limitation.

Can I receive a confirmation email/text message/IM notification for the items added by text?
No, reQall currently doesn't send confirmation notices for items added by text with one exception. When you add an item via Email Input (Pro only) you will receive a confirmation email.

How are my contacts or friends notified when I share items with them?
When you share with reQall users, the shared reminders are sent based on your contact's notification settings. Non-reQall users receive these reminders by email.  Reminders are sent at the time of sharing, whenever the item is changed by one of you, and at the specified reminder time.

Why are my contacts not able to reply to an email containing shared items?
The contacts with whom you have shared will able to reply only if  "Allow my contacts to reply to me via email" is enabled in your account notification settings.

I'm not receiving reminders at the right time.
reQall sends notifications based on the time zone settings in your account. Ensure that your reQall account has the correct time zone by going to Settings-->My Profile. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please email us at support@reqall.com with your reQall account details.

I'm not receiving email reminders from reQall.
Check your junk/spam folder. If the reminder email is there, mark it as "not spam" so that you will receive reminders in your Inbox in the future. Also, add reqall@reqall.com and support@reqall.com to your contacts, so that emails from these email addresses are not rejected or marked as spam.
